Workshop Description: “Active Learning to Drive Online Student Engagement” — Unlike passive learning, active learning encourages students to participate in their own learning through games, discussion, investigation, creation, etc. This workshop will focus on creating an online learning experience using active-learning strategies. Attendees will leave with a variety of ideas and tools to make their online courses more engaging for learners.
